Well what a year it has been......
We have seen snow, snow and more snow but that hasn't stopped us, we dug out the car park many times and the customers kept coming.
Our heating has been on full blast to welcome the loyal locals, first time holiday makers and the many who just keep coming back for more.
As Spring begins we have had a specially brewed bitter produced - Little John Smooth - this will be available from mid March, we always have a selection of hand pulled bitters from breweries such as Kelham Island, Hatters and many many more. Our current favorites are Dizzy Blond, Village Idiot, Texture Like Sun, Easy Rider and Shindig.
We are a pub, a restaurant and a hotel. We welcome kids and dogs, dogs are welcome in our accommodation too, so ALL the family can stay in Hathersage, obviously we do prefer the dogs to bring along well behaved owners!
Our menu consists of quality home cooked food with ingredients sourced locally, something for everyone from a light snack to a hearty mixed grill. Though be warned we don't like you to leave hungry - 'light' - may be a little misleading.
So far this year we have had stag do's, quiz nights, bingo, karaoke nights, pool tournaments, darts championships, romantic valentine couples and St Patric's day!
